The project was developed for a large international company, an electronics manufacturer using 1C:ERP in Russia and SAP in Japan.
In connection with the division of brand representations, there was an urgent need to organize a full-fledged two-way exchange of commercial data between two accounting systems located in different countries.
Prior to the introduction of 1C: ERP, the Russian representative office also used SAP.
The Russian representative office of the brand, although it is independent, is subject to external management by the Japanese representative office, so the project solved the problem of exchanging commercial data.
Direct integration of 1C:ERP and SAP could not be implemented for legal reasons, due to the internal corporate rules of the two representative offices.
After analyzing the infrastructure and internal corporate restrictions, for the implementation of the project, a web service was developed, located in a third country, through which a two-way exchange takes place.
